The City of Modesto is requesting on On-Site Tire Technician for the Public Works, Fleet Division. The Tire Technician shall perform tire inspection, repair and replacement services for City vehicles, trailers, light/medium/heavy-duty trucks, heavy-duty off-road equipment and over-sized tires.
The selected vendor shall provide a comprehensive pricing structure for the following:
• Service and repairs for light-duty tires
• Service and repairs for medium duty tires
• Service and repairs for heavy-duty tires
• Service and repairs for off-road and over-sized tires
Pricing must differentiate between on-site service at City facilities and field service call to off-site or remote locations. The technician must be available Monday through Saturday, during regular business hours (7:00am to 4:30pm), with a response time of no more than two hours for all scheduled and unscheduled service requests. Additionally, the vendor must provide pricing for weekend and after-hours services.
