The City of Chesapeake; Public Utilities Department, is seeking bids for the Northwest River Water Treatment Plant Groundwater Reverse Osmosis System Replacement. The Work under this Project consists of the remediation of the concrete slab and steel framing structure in a portion of the Membrane Building; replacement of translucent wall panels on the Membrane Building; demolition of two existing groundwater reverse osmosis (“RO”) trains and construction and commissioning of two fully operational replacement RO trains each with a feed water capacity of 2.5 million gallons per day (“mgd”) by a qualified Membrane System Supplier; replacement of raw groundwater sample panel by a qualified Membrane System Supplier; completion of programmable logic controller (“PLC”) and supervisory control and data acquisition (“SCADA”) programming updates by a qualified Membrane System Supplier; and replacement of piping, valves, pipe supports and electrical and instrumentation equipment as shown on the drawings
