The Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District (MPRPD) invites you to submit a Bid for purchase of two (2) new Four-Wheel Drive Utility Vehicles. These vehicles will be used primarily by Operations, Maintenance, and Conservation staff on unpaved trails and roads throughout District parklands. Specifications are attached and any deviations from the specifications should be clearly entered on the Bid Form. Submit your Bid on the enclosed Bid Form no later than 10:00 am Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Bids must be uploaded on the District’s online procurement site, https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/mprpd Bidder’s are required to state the maximum time necessary to deliver both utility vehicles to the MPRPD on the Bid Form, but in any case no later than June 30, 2025. If the utility vehicles are not delivered within the time stated on the Bid Form, MPRPD may terminate the purchase of the utility vehicles by giving written notice. The bidder will not be responsible for any time delays caused by circumstances, which are reasonably beyond the bidder’s control. Complete instructions and conditions are contained in the enclosed “Information to Bidder’s.” The utility vehicles will be delivered to the MPRPD completely assembled, prepared and ready to operate with all equipment cataloged as standard by the manufacturer and included in the total Bid price. The MPRPD is exempt from DMV fees, but local 7.75% sales tax is applicable.
